‘Star Wars: Shatterpoint, A Clone Wars Novel’ – Chapter 1, The Downward Spiral (Part 2)

Okay, it’s Sunday and I had every intention of getting up for church today, but somehow, that just was not to be.  The alarm went off this morning and I guess I turned it off by accident.  So, by the time Heather and I got up around nine-thirty, it was too late to go to church, so we just got up and hung out as a family.  I then went downstairs and did the one thing you are all thinking, that’s right, I blogged!!  I blogged all day long while watching the Daytonna 500.  It was a fun race to watch and I have to say that I was shocked at the ending.  I was even more shocked to watch Robby Gordon come in at 11th place.  I believe that is Robby’s best finish in a Daytonna race, good for him and it made my son happy.  Not much else happened around here today, sorry folks.

Chapter 1:  The Downward Spiral (Part 2): – From the Private Journals of Mace Windu:
     –  Depa’s down there and I can’t help but think about it.  She’s been down there and I can’t help but think about it.  She’s been down there for months and I can’t even imagine what has happened to her.  I have to focus on what I know and what is clear.  I can focus on what I know about Harrun Kal – It’s the sole planet of the AL’HAR system named after the language of the Korunnai.  From above, the planet seems to be mostly oceanic, but it is deceptive as it is surrounded by toxic gases that look like liquid from space.  The only place that oxygen breathing plants and animals can live is the highlands.  But even they are able to be over run by toxic gases during the winter when the downland winds blow.  The capital is Pelek Baw and is the largest inhabitable place on the largest land mass.  The indigenous people live in tribal packs called Ghosh and avoid settlements.  There is a history of conflict between the Korunnai and the Balwai (offworlders)…..
