‘Star Wars:The Approaching Storm’ – Chapter 7 (Part 3)

I predicted it would happen and it did.  The alarm went off to go to church this morning and Heather rolled right back over and went back to sleep.  She had a rough night last night at work and I just didn’t have the heart to tell her to get out of bed.  So, I let here sleep in and we got up and got the kids ready and went to their game.  It was really hot here today.  It got up to almost eighty degrees and I felt bad for the kids.  Cheerleaders and football players alike looked like they were ready to collapse.  We got done with the game and we all came home and Austin and I went downstairs and watched the football games and got caught up on scores.  Heather stayed upstairs and watched home improvement shows on Discovery and DIY.  We got near dinner time and Heather treated me to a nice surprise, she whipped up a home version of the Nick Tahoes plate for dinner while she and the kids ate leftovers.  That was cool and made it feel like I was in college again, even if very briefly.  We had dinner and then started to get the kids ready for school for the week.  Once we finished that, Heather and I started to watch our “new” Sunday line-up.  We watched “Amazing Race” and then watched “The War at Home” that we taped.

Time to talk of Part 3 of Chapter 7 of “Star Wars:The Approaching Storm” by Alan Dean Foster…..

Chapter 7 (Part 3):  Ogomoor was impressed with Bossban Soergg’s plans and knew that it relied on unreliable nomads to do what they expected.  He was happy that this plan did not put his own neck at risk, but depended upon information from outside sources.  The beauty was that it put no one at risk but all the polotics would come to a boiling point between the Unity and Alwari.  It was sure to cause Ansion to secede fromt he Republic, but he didn’t care either way as long as he got paid.  If all goes to plan, it will happen within’ two weeks…..
