‘Star Wars:The Approaching Storm’ – Chapter 4 (Part 5)

It was New York State Fair Day.  And it wasn’t bad at all!!  We actually had a great time at the fair and the kids were really excited when we left and asked if we would be doing it again next year.  We went there prepared to blow $100 if we had to and only spent $35 and that included Heather buying a mop from one of those speciality vendors.  We left the house around 9 a.m. and got to the fair around 10 a.m. when all the buildings were opening.  We got to see a whole bunch of cool stuff including the cattle and horse barns, the 4H building, we watched a Civil War Brass Band that was there that sounded totally cool (man, I would love to do that someday!) and we had some great food.  We had a baked potato for a $1 a piece with cheese and sour cream.  We had a dollar hot dog and drink.  It was actually cool to eat for such a cheap price.  We even decided to stop at McDonalds in LaFayette on the way home for dinner.  All in all, the day was good.  It rained a few times, but it never really got that bad.  The day wasn’t sunny at all, but that’s okay, I kinda melt in the sun.

Some other good news.  “Jedi Babies – Episode #1” – A New Jedi In The Crib has been officially released.  You can check it out here:  http://www.jedibabies.podomatic.com.  I’ll add it to my blogroll sometime this week as well.  I think you all will like it and the best part is that it is inspired by and stars my own kids.  I know they’re not perfect actors, but I think they did a pretty good job on the project.

Okay, short talk tonight, time to discuss “Star Wars:The Approaching Storm” by Alan Dean Foster, Chapter 4 (Part 5)…..
