‘Cloak of Deception’ – Chapter 12

Heather and I went to church today.  We then came home and had a “hang around the house” day.  We watched “Rush Hour” and Rush Hour 2″.  Then we watched a little of the NCAA Basketball tournament.  We only watched that because the Atlanta race got delayed to tommorrow.  Then we went with the kids to “Survivor Kids Club” a church event tonight.  We got home in time to watch “War at Home” on FOX (which is an AWESOME show by the way!) and then Sopranos on HBO (a staple in my house!!).

Tonight’s blog is about Chapter 12 of “Cloak of Deception” by James Luceno…..

Chapter 12 – The beginning of this chapter takes place on “The Hawk Bat” above Dorvalla.  Havac joins Cohl on “The Hawk Bat” and Cindar joined Havac.  During this time they meet when Cohl finally reveals his spoils from the Dorvalla campaign, the aurodium.  Havac pays Cohl for the aurodium.  Cohl reveals that he saw two Jedi on “The Revenue” while stealing the aurodium and believes there is a spy in “The Nebula Front”.  Then Havac offers Cohl a job that will pay him big, but Cohl turns it down.  Next we go to the spacecraft “Acquisitor” which is docked just outside Sullen Neimoidia.  In the hangar, Viceroy Nute Gunray, Rune Haako, Deputy Viceroy Hath Monchar, and Commander Daultay Dofine gathered to watch a new piece of machinery that Haar Chall had put together.  Basically, the Trade Federation gets introduced to the troop transport and new landing craft that carry thousands of battle droids folded up.  Haar Chall even suggests they talk to the Colicords of Colla IV as they designed a droid that can roll into positions.  There are many references to Sidious ordering this army being put together.  Gunray says they need to take matters into their own hands since the Senate won’t help them.
